Why can’t I take SLIMFIT if I am pregnant?

There are two reasons why SLIMFIT is not encouraged during pregnancy.
1. We believe during pregnancy women should be more focused on consuming a diet rich in nutrients to ensure their baby gets all the nutrients it needs whilst developing rather than focusing on weight or weight gain.
2. Our clinical trials did not include pregnant women; therefore, the product has not been tested on pregnant women.

Are all SLIMFIT products suitable for people with food allergies?

All SLIMFIT products are suitable for

• Vegetarians
• Doesn’t contain lactose / substances from milk
• No Added artificial colouring or flavouring
• No added salt or preservatives
• No GMO

Can men use SLIMFIT?

Yes SLIMFIT is designed for both Men & Women with a BMI over 18.5.

What is SLIMFIT Fat Binder?

SLIMFIT Fat Binder binds dietary fat. It binds readily with fat from food and becomes a fat-fibre complex. As the fat-fibre complex is too large to be absorbed in the small intestine, it is eventually excreted from the body. The fibres may also improve gastrointestinal transit.

How do I use SLIMFIT Fat Binder?

We recommend you take one SLIMFIT Fat Binder sachet after main meals or after a high fat content snack such as potato chips. Just remember it is not recommended to exceed more than three sachets a day and the sooner you take your sachets after your meal, the sooner SLIMFIT Fat Binder can get to work.  Pour the sachet directly into your mouth and allow it to mix with your saliva, then swallow.

Also try to drink plenty of water throughout the day as this will hydrate your body and because SLIMFIT Fat Binder is high in fibre, water consumption can also help to avoid that ‘blocked up’ feeling.

How does SLIMFIT Fat Binder work?

Its main function is to reduce the absorption of dietary fat. SLIMFIT Fat Binder binds with these fats to form a fat-fibre complex which is too large to pass through the wall of the small intestine. As a result, some dietary fat is left undigested and is excreted naturally when you go to the toilet.

Because of its fat-binding properties, SLIMFIT Fat Binder reduces the rate at which food leaves the stomach. It also keeps your blood sugar levels from rising too quickly, so you can feel fuller for longer with less cravings for sugary foods.

How long after opening SLIMFIT Fat Binder can it be used for?

SLIMFIT Fat Binder can be used until it reaches the expiry date on the product.

How long can I take SLIMFIT Fat Binder for?

We recommend taking SLIMFIT Fat Binder for three months or more depending on your weight management targets. For sustainable weight management we do not recommend losing more than 1kg a week.

What is the age range for SLIMFIT Fat Binder?

SLIMFIT Fat Binder is only recommended for adults over 18 years of age with a BMI>18.5. The use of this product by adolescents 12-18 years old should be supervised by healthcare professionals. If unsure about using this product, speak to your doctor or get medical advice from a healthcare professional before use.

Can SLIMFIT Fat Binder be taken with other medication?

SLIMFIT Fat Binder is classified as a medical device product. Interaction of SLIMFIT Fat Binder with different medications have not been studied, however it may affect the absorption of other medications into the blood stream.

If you are on other medications, we would advise you to take them at least 1 – 2 hours apart from SLIMFIT Fat Binder. However, we also advise that users who are on other medications should inform their healthcare professional on the intake of SLIMFIT to ensure that potential additional effects are monitored properly.

Who should not use SLIMFIT Fat Binder?

Do not take:

• If you have a BMI <18.5
• If you are pregnant or whilst breastfeeding
• If you are allergic to any ingredients
• Within 2 hours of consuming fat-soluble medicines including the oral contraceptive

Please consult your healthcare professional before taking SLIMFIT:

• if you are diabetic as SLIMFIT Fat Binder supports the reduction of food cravings by balancing blood glucose levels. Diabetic patients may have to adjust their daily anti-diabetic treatment to avoid hypoglycemic attacks
• If you use cholesterol-reducing medication

Yes, SLIMFIT products contain no animal-based ingredients/derivatives.

Litramine® a patented fibre complex of organic plant source (prickly pear). Xylitol, Natural fruit juice powder, Citric acid, Colloidal silicon dioxide, Natural-identical flavour, Magnesium stearate.

What is SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer?

SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer reduces calorie intake from main calorie nutrients: Complex carbohydrates, simple sugar and dietary fat. It contains Clavitanol TM a patented natural complex that reduces the breakdown and absorption of these nutrients into calories. This results in reduced calorie intake.

How do I use SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer?

Take one sachet before your two main meals of the day. The optimal time is up to 30 minutes before the meal. It is recommended to take SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer for at least three months, or until you have reached your targets.

How long after opening SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer can it be used for?

SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer can be taken until the expiry date stated on the product is reached.

How long can I take SLIMFIT Calorie Reducer for?

What is SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer?

SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer helps control your hunger and appetite.

To help control snacking take a capsule in between meals with a full glass of water. SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer should always be accompanied by a healthy balanced diet.

How do I use SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer?

Take two capsules with a full glass of water 30 minutes before your meal. Do not exceed a maximum of nine capsules per day.

How long after opening SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer can it be used for?

SLIMFIT products can be used up until the expiry date printed on the product.

How long can I take SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer for?

A break of 3-5 days is recommended after every 4 weeks of consumption of Appetite Reducer.

SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer is certified as a Medical Device Class IIb. The interaction of SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer with medications has not been extensively studied; however, it may affect the absorption of other medications into the bloodstream.

Please consult your healthcare professional before taking SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer:

• If you are taking any cholesterol-lowering medication
• If you are taking any Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) or potassium-sparing diuretics.

It is recommended to take other medications at least one hour before, or four hours after taking SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer. Adjust dosage with reference to healthcare professional.

We advise that users who are on other medications should inform their healthcare professional on the intake of SLIMFIT to ensure that potential additional effects are monitored properly.

Is SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer suitable for vegetarians / vegans?

Based on the raw materials and manufacturing details, SLIMFIT products contain no animal-based ingredients/derivatives. However, we cannot guarantee that no cross-contamination has occurred at the site of manufacture.

Is SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer safe while pregnant or breast-feeding?

No. Do not take SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.

Are there any side effects?

SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer is very well tolerated.

For beneficial action of fibres on gastrointestinal transit, it is recommended to drink at least 2L of water a day. Slight constipation could occur in case of limited liquid intake. If constipation persists despite adequate fluid intake, please consult your healthcare professional.

Is SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer suitable for those with allergies / food intolerances?

SLIMFIT does not contain any of the eight major allergenic foods including milk, eggs, fish crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soya. If you are allergic to sulphide or any of the ingredients listed, we do not encourage you to take this product.

SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer is certified as Halal, GMO-free and has an RSPO certificate for the sustainable sourcing of palm oil.

Is SLIMFIT Appetite Reducer suitable for diabetics?

We recommend diabetic patients consult a healthcare professional prior to use.

What are the ingredients?
